CCD- CloneCD Image File

What is .CCD File and How can be Open into the Desktop?

A .CCD file is a disk image file used by CloneCD, a software application used to create exact duplicate copies of CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs. It stores a byte-for-byte sector-by-sector image of a CD or DVD and is used to create exact copies of the original disk. CCD files are used to make backup copies of original discs, to store multiple images on one disc, and to copy copy-protected discs.

CCD files can be opened with CloneCD, a CD/DVD burning and copying software program developed by Elaborate Bytes. In addition, many other disk imaging programs, such as Alcohol 120%, can open and create CCD files.

To open a CCD file in CloneCD, select “Open Image File” from the File menu. In the Open dialog window, select the CCD file you wish to open and then click Open. The CCD file will then appear in the main CloneCD window. You can then burn the image to a CD or DVD or copy it to your hard drive.
