DAA- PowerISO Direct-Access-Archive

What is .DAA Format and How can we Open into the desktop?

The .DAA format (Direct Access Archive) is a proprietary file archive format developed by PowerISO Computing, Inc. It is used to compress and store large files and folders, and can contain multiple volumes, making it suitable for archiving or backing up data. DAA files can be opened with the PowerISO software, which is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Additionally, the 7zip file archiver can also be used to open DAA files.

To open the DAA file on a Windows desktop, you need to first download the PowerISO software from their website. Once downloaded, install the program and launch it. Then, open the DAA file from the File menu. The contents of the DAA archive will be displayed, and you can extract the files to a location of your choice.

Alternatively, you can use the 7zip file archiver to extract the contents of the DAA file. First, download the 7zip software from their website and install it. Then, right-click on the DAA file and select the “7-Zip -> Extract Here” option. This will extract the contents of the DAA file to the same directory.
