XPI- Mozilla Firefox PluginXPI-

What is .XPI file Format and How can we Open into the Desktop?

An .XPI file is an extension for a Mozilla Firefox add-on, which is a software application that adds functionality to the browser. XPI stands for Cross-Platform Installer, which means the add-on is compatible with all versions of Firefox, regardless of the operating system. XPI files are also compressed archives, so they can contain multiple files related to the add-on.

To open an XPI file on your desktop, you need to first download it from the Mozilla Firefox website. Once the file is downloaded, you can simply double-click on it to open it. The file should then be automatically installed and added to Mozilla Firefox. You can then access the add-on by clicking on the menu button in the top right corner of the browser, then selecting “Add-ons”. The add-on should then be available in the list of installed add-ons.
