VRO – DVD Video Object File

What is .VRO File Format?

A .vro file is a video recording file created by certain Sony camcorders. It is used to store video recordings in a high-quality format and is not intended to be played back on any device other than the camcorder that created the file. If you have a .vro file and want to view it, you will need to convert it to a more common video file format.

In order to open a .vro file, you must first convert it to a more widely supported format such as MP4 or AVI. To do this, you can use a free video conversion program such as HandBrake. After downloading and installing HandBrake, you can open the .vro file and select the desired output format. HandBrake will then convert the file and you will be able to open it in your desired video player.

It is also possible to open .vro files directly in Windows Media Player. To do this, you need to install a few plugins first. First, download and install the VideoLAN VLC media player, then download and install the FFDShow Video Codec. Once both of these programs are installed, you should be able to open the .vro file in Windows Media Player.

The .vro format is not a very common one and it is not supported by most media players. If you have a .vro file and need to view it, you will need to convert it to a more widely supported format. You can do this using a free video conversion program such as HandBrake or by installing a few plugins to open the file directly in Windows Media Player.
