SLP- SolidWorks SLP File

What is .SLP File Format and How to Open it?

A .SLP file is an audio file format developed by the Speech-Language Pathology group. It is a proprietary audio format used for storing audio recordings from speech-language pathology sessions, such as those involving speech-language therapy with a client. The audio recordings are typically captured with a microphone and stored as a .SLP file on a computer.

SLP files can be opened using the Windows-based SpeechViewer software. SpeechViewer is a tool developed specifically for speech-language pathology and allows users to view, playback, and analyze SLP files. The software also provides tools for labeling and annotating the recordings and analyzing the data.

SLP files can also be opened with the open-source Audacity audio editor. Audacity can open, edit, and export SLP files and allows users to apply effects and filters to the audio.

SLP files can be converted to the more widely supported WAV audio format using a converter such as SLP2WAV. This converter is a free, open-source tool that can be used to convert SLP files to WAV.

SLP files can also be viewed with the free, open-source FreeSLP viewer. This viewer allows users to view the recordings in a graphical format and view the raw audio data. The FreeSLP viewer can also be used to export the recordings to other audio formats.
