DB- Database File

What is .DB File Format and How to Open it?

A .DB file is a database file created by various database software programs. It stores data in a structured format and is used to store information like customer information, inventory and financial data.

The .DB file format is based on the Structured Query Language (SQL) and is used by a number of database management systems such as Oracle, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2. It is also used by a variety of applications such as web browsers, accounting software, customer relationship management (CRM) solutions and more.

In order to open a .DB file, you need a database software program that supports the SQL language, such as Microsoft Access or Oracle Database. If you don’t have a database program installed, you can use a free online database viewer like DB Browser, which allows you to view the contents of a DB file without the need for a database software program.

Once you have a database program installed, you can open the .DB file by double-clicking it or opening it in the database software program. Depending on the software, you may be able to view and edit the contents of the database or export it to a different format, such as CSV or HTML.
